To join Otley Social Club, a candidate for election must be proposed and seconded by two members who can vouch for the proposed member's respectability and fitness for membership. An entrance fee of £10.00, along with an annual subscription of £20 for full members or an entrance fee of £5 plus a yearly subscription of £10 for over 60 or junior members, must be paid by the candidate upon nomination.

If the candidate is not elected, the fees will be returned. All memberships expire on 31st December each year, and the application must be displayed in the club for at least six days before the election date.
